KAUST Delegation Visits KAU

Peter Godsafe, Director of the Information Technology Center at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), and his deputy, Eng Amer Al-Faouri, have recently visited the Deanship of Information Technology of King Abdulaziz University (KAU).

The purpose of the visit was to have a glimpse of KAU's advanced IT infrastructure so as to take advantage of its wide experience in the field of technology, which resulted in achieving a catalogue of prestigious regional and international awards.

Members of the delegation made a tour of the deanship's different departments, and were highly impressed by the highly sophisticated systems used.

Dr Ayman Fayoumi, KAU Vice Dean of Information Technology for Technical Affairs, expressed his elation with the visit, stressing that his deanship was ready to provide KAUST with any sort of IT consultancy services.
