About the Management
The Deanship of Information Technology is working hard to achieve the vision of the senior management of the University towards the application of the principle of "A University without papers". IT primarily contributes to this through the development and improvement of the quality of electronic self-services that support communication between the various departments of the university and its sectors. This leads to the emergence of the term Management Financial and administrative applications as an advanced administrative system that uses information technology in designing the programs in line with the needs of the university sectors that deals with the self-services archives and electronic transactions. Thereafter it assures that they conform to the needs of beneficiaries and it supports them when facing any problems or difficulties during use.
The aim of Management Financial and administrative applications is to strengthen efforts to encourage the interaction of the university employees in implementing the tasks through the services provided by the electronic self-management and use of modern means of communication to ensure information security and confidentiality, in accordance with the Strategic Plan of the University .
Management Tasks
- Developing the electronic self-services to simplify procedures and
open new channels for the university employees to obtain these
services easily following the guidance of the senior management.
- Developing archiving systems in order to handle the increasing number of documents and to control the aggregated archival accounts via processing, saving, and retrieving them in a short period of time and to protect them from being lost or damaged..
- Developing the autonomous systems and following-up the workflow through using the re-engineering processes in a manner consistent with the concept of self-services.
- Providing the information and data that support and meet the requirements of the programs and self-services, according to the needs of the university.
- Providing the data for the university employees in a modern
technical manner in order to serve self-services processes and
approval procedures, to organize and distribute the tasks
electronically, and to help supporting whom in charge in
decision-makings via providing the necessary information.
- Providing a comprehensive information balance consisting of the data and academic and administrative information through which the redistribution of self-services can be accomplished and from which all the university employees: teaching staff, administrators, students, and the society can benefit..
